Terms of Use

By using SubTap you agree to these terms. SubTap is provided "as is" to help you track and manage your subscriptions.
Who we are
These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and Allie Ltd ("SubTap", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (Reg. No. HE 460424, VAT 60076104S), Emmanouil Roidi 44, Kirzis Center, 3031, Limassol, Cyprus. They govern your access to and use of the SubTap app and related services (the "Service"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Eligibility
SubTap is intended for users aged 18 and over. You must be at least 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent where you live, 14–16 in some EU/EEA countries) to use the app. If you're under 18 but above that minimum, you may only use SubTap with a parent or guardian's involvement and consent.
Account
A lightweight account (Email, Google, or Apple) is required to sync your data and use the AI assistant. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@subtapapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Don't create more than one account per person or on someone else's behalf without permission.
Purchases
Plans are one-time payments with no auto-renewal: 3-Month Access, 12-Month Access, and a Lifetime Pass granting permanent access. Pricing is shown in the app before purchase. Purchases are handled by the App Store and Google Play via the Adapty billing SDK and are subject to their respective terms — refund requests go to Apple or Google directly, not to us.
If you're a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive. By using paid content right after purchase, you consent to immediate performance and may lose that right.
The Lifetime Pass grants access for the operational lifetime of SubTap on the store account used to buy it — it doesn't guarantee any specific feature stays available forever or that the Service runs perpetually. If we ever discontinue SubTap, we'll give reasonable notice.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to store data unrelated to subscription tracking. Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the app, try to access other accounts or our systems, upload malware, impersonate anyone, or use the AI assistant to generate illegal or harmful content. SubTap helps you track charges but does not provide financial advice. We can suspend or terminate access immediately for violations.
AI assistant
The AI assistant is powered by OpenAI, reached through OpenRouter, an AI infrastructure provider that routes requests to OpenAI on our behalf. Responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date — it's not a financial, legal, or tax advisor, so verify anything important directly with the subscription provider or a qualified professional. The app asks for your explicit confirmation, naming both providers, before your first message is sent; what is and isn't transmitted is set out in our Privacy Policy. Decline it if you'd rather not — the rest of the app works the same.
Product analytics
SubTap can send anonymous product-usage events to Amplitude, our analytics provider, but only after you opt in. You can turn this off at any time in Settings › Privacy. On iOS you're also asked separately whether to allow tracking; declining keeps your advertising identifier out of it. Neither answer affects your access to any feature. What is collected, and what never is, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
No financial linking
SubTap never requests or stores bank account or card credentials for tracking purposes. All subscriptions are entered manually by you. SubTap doesn't detect, block, or cancel charges on your behalf — always verify cancellations directly with the provider before relying on any status shown in the app.
Intellectual property
The app and its content — text, graphics, audio, icons, software — belong to Allie Ltd or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. The SubTap name and logo are our trademarks. We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial license to use the app; nothing here transfers ownership to you or lets you sublicense it.
Your content
You keep the rights to the subscription data and AI messages you enter. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to run the Service — for example, to sync it across your devices or send it to the AI assistant when you use that feature. Feedback you send us (ratings, support emails) can be used freely to improve the app.
Disclaimers & liability
SubTap is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content — including AI responses — is accurate or complete. SubTap is a tracking tool, not a financial service, and doesn't constitute professional advice.
To the extent the law allows, Allie Ltd isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including charges from third-party subscriptions or missed cancellations. Our total liability under these Terms won't exceed the greater of what you paid us in the past 12 months or €100. This doesn't limit liability that can't be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud — and if you're a consumer, it doesn't affect your statutory rights.
Indemnification
You agree to cover reasonable costs and damages we incur from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service, except where that's not allowed under applicable consumer protection law.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material violations of these Terms or legal reasons, giving notice where reasonably possible. You can delete your account any time from Settings, or by emailing support@subtapapp.com. Deleting your account doesn't automatically refund any remaining plan period — refunds go through Apple or Google.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Disputes are subject to the courts of Limassol, Cyprus, subject to mandatory consumer protection law. If you're a consumer in the EU/EEA, you keep the right to bring proceedings in your own country's courts, and can use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Before going to court, email us at support@subtapapp.com so we can try to sort it out directly.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For changes affecting your rights, we'll notify you at least 30 days in advance.
